At Folke Furniture ApS, we offer you a 30-day right of return on all purchases — extended beyond the statutory 14-day EU consumer right.

The 30-day period starts from the day you receive your order. As an EU/EEA consumer, the first 14 days are your unconditional statutory right of withdrawal. The remaining 16 days are a commercial extension we offer as part of our promise to make Folke risk-free to try.

1. Right of Withdrawal

As an EU/EEA consumer, you have a 14-day unconditional right of withdrawal on all purchases from Folke Furniture ApS, regardless of reason. The 14-day period starts from the day you receive your order.

2. How to Return

Step 1 — Notify us

Email cn@folkefurniture.com within 14 days of receipt with:

• Your order number
• The items you wish to return
• Reason for return (not required, but appreciated)

Step 2 — Send the items back

You have 14 days from your notification to return the items. Please pack them in their original or equivalent packaging. Folke’s flat-pack design makes repacking straightforward.

Step 3 — Refund

Once we receive the items in acceptable condition, we will refund the purchase price including standard delivery costs within 14 days, via your original payment method.

3. Return Shipping Costs

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

• The product is defective or damaged on arrival
• The wrong item was sent

In these cases, Folke Furniture ApS will cover the return cost and arrange collection.

4. Condition of Returned Items

Products may be tried as you would in a store, but should not have been put into extended use. We reserve the right to deduct an amount from the refund if the product has been materially diminished in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and function.

5. WARRANTY

5.1 STATUTORY WARRANTY (2 YEARS)

Under EU consumer law you have a 2-year statutory warranty on manufacturing and material defects from the date of delivery. If you discover a defect, contact us at cn@folkefurniture.com with your order number, a description, and photos. We respond within 3 business days, typically with a replacement of the affected module or component.

5.2 COMMERCIAL FABRIC GUARANTEE (10 YEARS)

In addition, we offer a 10-year commercial guarantee on the fabric for normal indoor household use.

What it covers: premature wear, pilling, broken seams, and seam failure on covers that have been used and cared for as instructed (washing at 30°C max, no tumble drying, no harsh chemicals).

What it does not cover: damage from misuse, accidents, pets, sharp objects, sun bleaching from extended direct sunlight exposure, or commercial / contract use. The guarantee covers replacement of the affected cover; it does not cover the full cost of a new sofa.

To claim under the 10-year guarantee, contact us at cn@folkefurniture.com with photos and proof of purchase. We will respond within 5 business days.

6. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to your specific requirements (custom orders), unless the product is defective. Contact us if you are unsure whether your order qualifies as a standard or custom product.
